The leatherback sea-turtle, known in Spanish as “el tinglar,” is the largest marine turtle in the world. A symbol of longevity, the leatherback can live over 100 years. What makes them very distinctive is that they have 7 longitudinal ridges and a soft carapace. At Coquí el Original® we created the Tinglar Collection because in Puerto Rico we love our turtles.
